Understanding Motion and Force

This course focuses on three elements: content knowledge, inquiry and other teaching strategies, and use of multimedia in teaching and learning. Course goals include:

• exploring the relationship between rolling and falling motions;
• understanding basic concepts of force;
• identifying the causes of floating and sinking motions; and
• exploring how making and testing predictions can foster learning.
