Understanding Heat Transfer

This course focuses on three elements: content knowledge, inquiry and other teaching strategies, and use of multimedia in teaching and learning. Course goals include:

• understanding radiation, convection, and conduction;
• understanding how heat transfer affects density; and
• examining the use of formative evaluation when teaching these topics.
