Teaching Effective Lessons

This course focuses on three elements: inquiry and other teaching strategies, use of multimedia in teaching and learning, and ways to apply these to enhance specific content knowledge. Course goals include:

• learning how to apply the principles of backward design to revise or plan a lesson;
• exploring ways to improve the classroom learning environment;
• applying what you learn to improve lessons on waves or motions and forces.
