Motion and Forces in Your World

This course focuses on three elements: content knowledge, inquiry and other teaching strategies, and use of multimedia in teaching and learning. Course goals include:

• viewing phenomena in the world around you through the lens of physical science;
• learning how to make and record careful observations of physical phenomena;
• introducing concepts of motion, force, speed, and acceleration; and
• exploring how to identify and build upon prior knowledge.
