Building Understanding

This course focuses on three elements: inquiry and other teaching strategies, use of multimedia in teaching and learning, and ways to apply these to enhance specific content knowledge. Course goals include:

• exploring the concept of pedagocial content knowledge and applying it to physical science teaching; and
• exploring techniques for meeting the needs of individual learners.
